Children's Museum
Matty paid a visit to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis today, the largest such museum in the US. Skipping her nap entirely (with entertainment like this who could blame her?), Matty ran and skipped her way through the museum's 4 levels for a total of 4 hours until closing time. We visited an exhibit of Bob the Builder, saw some lifesize dinosaurs, splashed and dug in the sand at Playscape and rode the merry-go-round 5 times...what a day!

Nana's beauty treatment...
Nana gave Matty a free beauty consultation, complete with makeup and hairstyling.
Quack, quack...
Matty is crazy about the ducks in my mother's hallway. Every time we pass by she can't resist giving mommy and baby duck a pat (and most of the time baby duck gets picked up by the beak!)

Carseat attachment???
Soon after returning home we discovered that the old car seat was way too small for Miss Matty. Just because we bought a new one though doesn't mean that the old seat isn't in use. Matty has taken to climbing in and out of it and even took a 2.5 hour nap in it (pictured here just before her nap). It's also coming in handy when Pooh Bear, Tigger or Baby Doll need to catch some shut eye.
Bigfoot!
A recent visit to the local shoe store left me shocked to find that Matty is a whopping size 8! Check out those feet...
Tuckered out...
A week of park visits and warm weather finally caught up to Matty on Tuesday evening around 6:30. After asking to go "back to bed" she promptly fell asleep in her high chair during dinner!
